Great weather (i.e., temperatures above 40) on New Year's Day set the stage for another enjoyable January 1st sail by a number of die-hard Fleet 23 members and guests. The social committee had food and beverages for everyone, a toasty fire was going on the beach, and a good crowd was on hand to enjoy the mild breeze ... which kept the wind chill reasonable. The crowd started gathering around 11:30 and the last car left just as the sun set behind the trees just West of the beach. A sampling of photos is included below.
